This Privacy Policy explains how Asia Oil Terminal Pte. Ltd. ("Asia Oil Terminal", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data when you visit asiaoilterminal.com, contact us, or do business with us. We are a Singapore company and we handle personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and to supply our services:

• Contact and quote requests. Name, company, email address, phone number, vessel details, port, dates and the message you send through our contact form or by email.
• Business records. Contact details of people at customer, supplier and agent companies, and the documents that normally accompany a bunkering or provisioning order.
• Website usage. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, time of visit). If we use an analytics service, it may set cookies to measure traffic; you can block cookies in your browser and the site will still work.
• Social media. If you interact with our LinkedIn page or other business pages, we see the public information and messages that platform shows to page administrators.

3. How we use it

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
• To perform and document a supply contract, including delivery notes, invoices and compliance records required in the marine fuels trade.
• To keep in touch about services you have asked about. We do not send marketing to people who have not dealt with us.
• To run and secure our website.
• To meet legal, tax, sanctions and port-authority obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with parties needed to deliver our services: physical suppliers, barge and truck operators, surveyors, ports and agents involved in your order; our IT, email and hosting providers; professional advisers; and authorities where the law requires it. Each of these receives only what is needed for their part of the job.

5. International transfers

Our customers, suppliers and service providers are located in many countries. Where personal data leaves Singapore, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to business are kept for up to 24 months. Transaction records are kept for as long as Singapore tax, company and trade law requires, usually at least five years, then deleted or anonymised.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including access controls and encrypted connections to our website. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

8. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent for its use. Write to us at the address below. We will respond within the time the law allows. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.

9. Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
